End of the Honeymoon

How do couples keep the spark when the honeymoon period is over?

My relationship is officially out of the honeymoon phase. We've been together about 3 months and everything seems like it's falling apart. Of course it's not, but we seem to disagree on more things that usual. I want to go out more, he doesn't. No reason to be discouraged though. It might just mean that each person needs some space.

Or maybe it means some things need to be re-evaluated? My man claims to be saving money yet he continues to spend it frivolously. Yet, he seems to be "too broke" to take me out. Sounds a bit selfish to me. No, I'm not trying to control his money either. All I'm saying is that I would like to go out to eat every now and then. When I expressed my feelings about this matter, he went MIA. I know what my faithful readers are thinking-NOT AGAIN. I doubt that he's disappeared, but clearly he doesn't want to talk about it. Well I have something in store for him whenever he decides he wants to communicate again. Just wait for it. 

I rather not get into it too much though. Apparently I tend to blab my business. I just consider it "sharing."

So I just randomly got the urge to blog, which is why I'm here. I didn't check to see how long it's been, but at least a few months?

Congrats Kim and Kanye!

I'm so happy for Kim Kardashian and Kanye West. There wedding looks like it was nothing short of magical. Getting married in Italy is a dream.

Surprisingly, Kim's dress wasn't as revealing as I thought it would be. She worked so hard to get that body back so I thought she was going to expose more. She still looked absolutely stunning though.

Kimye wedding this week?

Shout out to mediatakeout for that article on Kimye possibly getting married in Cali this week. 

Honestly that wouldn't surprise me because Kim has been losing A LOT of weight at a fast pace. I couldn't figure out why because it's not she's been doing a lot of media related things. But a potential wedding this week? That's more than enough reason for my sis to get her body right.

If the wedding is this week, I cannot wait to see her dress! Loved their pictures in Vogue, btw.

Wine and Me

I've come to realize that I have a very strange relationship with wine.

First of all, I don't consider myself an alcoholic because I do not need to drink every day or even every week. Now don't get me wrong, I like alcohol, but I just don't need the unnecessary calories. Now that I'm in the process of toning up, paying off debts, and saving, I find more reasons to not spend money on it.

However, every now and then (like last night) I get the urge to have a drink. Typically, I'll just buy a cheap bottle of wine and make it last for two weeks. Mainly because, I tend to delay opening it. 

In addition, there are times when I want to buy a bottle of wine, yet I don't because I know I shouldn't be spending the money. So I'll just go to the store, walk up and down the wine aisle, read some descriptions, then make note of wines that I should buy when I have the extra money. 

Interesting relationship right?

On a side note, I've been on a Merlot kick lately...

Love, Actually?

I have this app on my phone, AllWomensTalk (don't judge me), and it's like the best thing I ever downloaded. It talks about celebs, beauty, fashion, love, lifestyle, wellness and soo many other topics. They even email me weekly suggestions of articles to read.

The articles come in the form of "7 Ways to Train Your Brain" and "7 Reasons to Move Away From College. Those are actually real articles since I couldn't find a way to describe its format. Feel free to look them up.

Today, I came across an article titled, "17 Signs He is in Love With You." As much as I didn't want to get sucked into it, I did - which tends to happen with this app. The whole thing with just hysterical. Some of the signs included things like ,"He enjoys cuddling with you. He is constantly keeping up eye contact. He wants to spend every moment with you." All I could think about was blah blah blah lol. 

Isn't every relationship different? Are there some guys out there who enjoy cuddling in general? Does it necessarily mean they're in love? Overall, kudos to the app for once again sucking me in and making me BELIEVE.

Don't get me wrong, I love the app, it has interesting articles. However I must pay attention to the validity of the content. 

Drake and Rihanna

All I'm going to see about this is DUH. Drake is a Scorpio and Rihanna is a Pisces. That is a perfect match. They were bound to get together eventually. And they are going to continue to be on/off because that it the pattern of a Scorpio-Pisces relationship. Rihanna is my sis though and if she's happy, I'm happy. As much as I loved her with Chris Brown, she deserves better. As a Pisces currently dealing with a Taurus, I completely understand the complications of their relationship.

Bipolar vs. Moody

Today, a guy jokingly told me that I was bipolar. I've never had someone tell me that. So of course I had to ask what makes me bipolar. Never got a reply. Well it's been 30 minutes and I'm still waiting.

I've always considered myself to be pretty moody. I openly admit that. My emotions go from one extreme to the next. And they change constantly. I guess that sounds a lot like bipolar behavior. But trust me, I'm not as bad as it seems. I just have very strong emotions.

So men, what's the difference between a bipolar and moody female? What makes you think a female is bipolar?

Confessions of a Workaholic

Having 3 jobs makes it even more difficult to find time to post on my blog. I barely have time to tweet lol. But anyway, for those of you who do read my posts, I just wanted to make an appearance. I'm alive and well. 

Life is still...interesting, as usual. It's nice to have money coming in from all angles lol. Every time I think I'm broke, I remember that I'm about to get paid from at least 1 of my 3 jobs. I'm not into money and material possessions but it's nice to be able to pay my bills.

However, I have to be careful in managing my time. I tend to leave very little personal time for myself. I gotta work on that.

People Who Lie

So believe it or not, I actually heard from that guy, you know the one that "disappeared" around Valentine's Day. Of course he had a story.

According to him, I'm too nosy and investigative which is why he blocked me. Even he had to agree that his timing was off. Why would you block your girlfriend the day after telling her you're going to be gone for "a week or so."

I'm not going to waste anymore time talking about this guy. At the end of the day, he's sketchy and a liar. The relationship is still over.

People really shouldn't lie. As a teenager, I got into a bad habit of telling white lies to my parents in order to get what I wanted. Luckily I outgrew that trait. Lying is never good.
